    Gee, that Chinese proverb is so deep, but what does corn have to do with Mr. Ed? If Wilbur gave him corn, he'd have indigestion.

    Those wise words belong in your 5/27 "Flowering" entry in reply to your words: "Makes up for my generally poor luck with houseplants, I suppose."

    In other words, your most important work has little to do with houseplants.
