There is a certain randomness about scanning and posting art. Your shield was quite good, but the individual symbols were pretty small. So I figured it wouldn't look that good on screen. On the computer, like the television, subtlety can be a liability.
I'm the only commenting student on your blog. (Which is excellent, by the way!) And yet, I never have my artwork posted!!! :-(
